Wake up Engergised

Have you woke up and refuse to get out of bed?  Just wanting snooze a bit more and refusing to move out of the bed.  There are times where we are like this.   But it is not uncommon for the people these days, with the stress building up, overcrowding and competitive environment.  Many urbaners are finding that their lives are out of balance.  Let us take a quick look what we can do to improve our rest and get the most out of it.

  1. Sleep , YOU do not need a lot but you need it good: Sleep well rather than sleep long.  Make sure that the prime time 11pm-3am , you are in the bed snoozing.  That is the most important thing.
  2. Leave your job at work: Do not bring your work home.  Remember the company will still work without you, if you really have to work, please keep it to the stipulated timing and make sure that you sleep early.  Remember the Golden Hour 11pm-3am.  These are the times that you should be in bed snoozing.
  3. Fill your day with activities:  It is true ! If you pass your day without anything in mind, you will tend to be sluggish but having a plan in mind makes the day fruitful and more eventful that you will be energised and continue to carry on!
  4. Let the light in: Try to sleep in a room with windows so that the sunlight can come in, this will prevent you from wanting to sleep more.  Studies have shown that if you have light coming into the room, you will wake up faster.
  5. Eat a good breakfast packed with good nutrients:  Berries , Green tea and some citrus food packed with flavonoids are good way to start your day.  Choose something sour to spruce up the morning!
