Round Island Bicycle Challenge 2024
So this year joining it again, I think there is really a need to do one long ride to improve myself and keep the currency.

After the 70.3, somehow I felt something amiss about my vibes, maybe I am taking things too hard. When I signed up for this one, I was still thinking whether to do it. I have a habit when I sign for races, I must do my very best unless it is a free bib.
Joining this race for 3 years in a row, I prefer biathlon to a triathlon, because I really do not like to stress out cycling. I always feel cycling is a chillax activity and should be done in a relaxed manner where you can ride and eat. […]
Joining the MR 25 Ultramarathon was not something on my mind, although I am a member of the group. To speak the truth, I think I will be able to improve greatly with the group if I am very conscientious in taking part in all their activities, however, one deterring factor to go for club activities is because the runners are seriously fast, even the women ! There is very high level of stress factor involved. […]
Event took place on 6th Aug 2023 and the signing up is by the usual chanel , Active SG app. Beside that I also signed up for the swimming competitions but realised that I could only go for one event , 100M freestyle. These activities are under the Pesta Sukan category which is Sports SG ‘s initiative to bring on the sports spirits to all types of athletes.
Joined this event because of MR25 invitation. I am not a speedster but I thought since this year, I am going to improve on my speed, I might as well see where I am standing.
Another physical race in Singapore, as things eased up after covid restrictions. I began to think its time to review back all these SG runs which I once had. I had never joined the Run for Light before because it is too far in North East of Singapore, Punggol.
This race took part in Chiang Mai towards Chiang Rai area. Nature is in great abundance in these places and it brought me back to the days where I was travelling in this region very frequently. I always loved the weather of Chiang Mai, not too overly cold yet the sunny daylight bring some warmth to you.
The first mass physical race in Singapore since the Covid 19. I actually joined the Yellow Ribbon Courageous where you run 21km and cycle 60Km in a certain time frame to be able to get the physical race.
I have been very reluctant to write this one, because it was very painful experience. Another reason was that this year, I did it with a person whom I really respect and I felt I had dragged him down the wrong way in this one. After last year’s attempt, I have been thinking seriously, do I really want to do it or let it go? In the end, seems like I just cannot let it go and signed up again.
