Wild Boar Trail by Running Guild
Did not thought about joining this race at all, then just got spurred by one of the swimming friends, Fidel Costa. He was running the Bukit timah summit all the time and I realised that he was joining this activity.

To speak the truth I am not a good tri person. I really cannot ride well and do not know the technicalities of riding. But there is one thing that I enjoy about riding is the speed and freedom it gives me which running sometimes does.
This event is a Tri, Bi or Dua thalon event by the Running Guild
There are different category and distances and mix and match between the 3 types of exercises, Swim , Bike and Run. Was very tempted to do the super tri. But I realise that cycling portion is going to kill my time as a 100Km for me is likely to take 4 hours, which after I am not sure if I can still run a Half Marathon. That being said. It would have been a good training for half Iron Man though. Brings me back to thinking, how did all these people do full ironman in less than 17 hours.
I wrote one piece about Open Water. So far all my open water trainings are in Sentosa, must say that this place is a safer location than other Open waters in Singapore. As I continue on my open water journey, I began to discover more about Sentosa and the places where you can swim which is almost unreachable to others by foot.
As a continuation from the previous post, which I felt was really long. Well this goes to say pole dancing and aerial arts has became a real sport for many people now. In this post, I am just going to talk about the newly opened PXD Pole Studio ( a dance academy) and a pure pole practice studio, Wonderwall.
More and more pole studios are opening up in Singapore, I guess this is also because more people are taking up this sport, at the same time due to space constraints at home, most learners are unable to fix a pole at home. I used to have a pole at home before it got renovated, little did I know that my pole was on a faux ceiling all the while. It is actually very dangerous but seems like nothing happened all the years. I guess being a pole owner you really need to know more technicals etc.
Well, that being said, one of these days I will write something on owning a pole though. For now , I guess the best choice is go to the studios. Besides the usual classes, there are a few studios dedicated for pure Pole Practice.
Just to kinda “revenge” my failure in the 200Km Shiok! Race by Running Guild. I decided to join the 88.88km Lucky run by Running Guild also. Alice, a running friend of mine, actually suggested it as she wanted to do it. So I decided to join her together.
This ultra race is organised by the Running Guild. Ben Swee is the chief mastermind behind all the action. The race can be done over a period designated or one shot which allows you to be on the Roll of Honour of the Running Guild. This 200Km race is different from the 100 miles previously as there is a designated route and time limit to qualify for the roll of honour.
Never been a good swimmer , maybe due to my physique and I was rather obsessed about running all these while. Swimming is however no doubt a good exercise as it incorporates all the limbs.
First time taking part in this event although it has been around in Singapore for sometime. Frankly speaking, I am just not very apt to do some kind of trail or elevation training in Singapore, not because I am damn good or what, but just that I feel there is no point cos it is never the same type of terrain compared to overseas.
